The boots I ordered are lovely, comfortable and just what I was looking for. The customer service however was not great. On initially ordering the boots and paying for them I received an email two days later, informing me that my size was not available! I called, as requested before their 4pm phone call cut off point but did not get through. I then emailed to confirm my size change but heard nothing for a another few days. It was only when I called, a full 7 days later, and after hearing nothing, that my order was finally verbally confirmed and then dispatched. The boots arrived two days later which was great. Not great customer service I’d say.

Bought some Barker's shoes which were very nice. Only thing was they arrived in a Barker's box that was broken on 2 sides (they were not splits due to transport company just looked like an old, knackered box). Doesn't detract from the nice shoes but not what I would expect for a premium product

Terribly terribly late more than 2 weeks after Christmas- shockingly poor service this time having given them a second chance when they forgot to send me my first order - which also too two weeks. Dreadful service and barraged with emails It is unbelievable. Following this review an immediate and very personal apology was received from the very polite and efficient Holly - almost back in my good books! Thank you a Holly and I hope all your staff have fully recovered from Covid.

Excellent quality products (Frano Ponti jumpers) but advertised as 3 day delivery for orders over £50. Sent 3 emails to follow up before any reply received as required for Christmas present and was eventually advised delivery takes around 9 days. Took 14 days due to Christmas break and disappointingly too late to give as Christmas presents

I got my order , well priced and the quality I would expect....its just the time to ship was slow, the communication was poor and the means to contact them was slow....it was the lead up to Christmas but if you offer an online presence then the service (phone lines and logistics) needs to scale with demand. If the order had been processed quickly then I would not have tried to call or email saving on the customer servicing costs.... Maybe because it was leading up to Christmas the service wasn't great. Ordered on 7th December, tried to call the weekend of 11-12 December but called out of hours so was diverted to voicemail. Called 14/12 and all calls were still diverted to voicemail (tuesday), I emailed them. I eventually got through on the phone on 15/12 and was waiting in the telephone queue and got all the way down to position 5 and was cut off. Just as I was about to redial, they responded to my email to say my order was being processed. The order arrived 16/12. On 20/12 they closed the phone lines due to a covid outbreak which was after my order was processed.

Order took longer than stated too arrive but put that down to Christmas although it did say it would only take 6 days. Coat was too big so wanted to exchange it for a smaller one but had to return wait for a refund and reorder. Would have preferred a straight exchange. Also no returns label supplied. Still waiting for the refund so unable to afford to order the correct size coat yet.

Was told it would be delivered within six days actually took 14 with no contact on the exclamation Took over half an hour to get through to customer service line there was no apology I was just told it will be with you tomorrow which was day 14. However the product is excellent .

Very pleased with the garment I purchased. My husband loves his new jacket. BUT very disappointed that no effort appears to have been made to reimburse me for the smaller size jacket I returned and you received 12 days ago.

Ordered a Barbour Beaufort Classic in the Black Friday sales as I was wanting a coat to walk my sons' dog in as we've been having a lot of rain just lately. Thought a Barbour wax jacket would be a great idea. Ordered a Beaufort classic and received a Classic Northumbria. It arrived on the 7th day after ordering which I wasn't happy about it taking so long. Then when it arrived it was the wrong coat and also the top button had been ripped off and I found half of it on the floor. Then realised the bag had already been cut open so no doubt it was a previously returned coat. I complained straight away and was replied to fairly quickly saying they'd send me the correct coat out next day delivery although it was a Friday. They also said they'd refund me 10% and include a pre-paid return label. So received a message saying it would arrive Monday which would make that 10 days now to receive the correct item ordered. Then I received another message saying it would be here Saturday so great I thought. Waited at my work all day Saturday to be told 30 minutes before it was due that it wasn't coming today and would be Monday like originally stated. I phoned up DPD via the app to be told the coat wasn't even on the van and would be delivered Monday. So finally the correct coat ordered arrived on Monday and again this was not in the original packaging it was just in the mailing bag and the clear plastic Barbour bag was folded up in one of the pockets. Atleast this coat fits me properly and I'm happy with it. It also has the Made in England labels which is one of the reasons why I chose this model. The other coat I was sent first was the Classic Northumbria and this coat was massive on me and it was quite heavy and long and I felt a bit odd wearing it. The Beaufort is a better fit on me and not as massive. I almost got lost in it. So overall I was disappointed with the delivery time and being sent the wrong coat that was damaged and then they sent the correct coat out next day delivery so why don't they just do that in the first place. Nobody likes waiting ages for items especially for clothes that may not even fit and need to be exchanged. It wasn't made clear either that the despatch would take upto 6 days and I wasn't able to select a faster delivery option at checkout only the free delivery option if you spend over £150.

My boots arrived fairly promptly which was fine. I had to return them and received acknowledgement of their arrival back. Unfortunately after 8 days no refund appeared in my bank account. I had to telephone customer services who said they would action this straight away. Such a shame this couldn't have been actioned without my telephone call.

The customer service people were great: responsive and quick. A word to international shoppers like me: I appreciated the free international shipping option, and that was the main reason I chose to buy the product from A Farley. If you read the description of the shipping, it does say 21 working days. And they mean it! I was somewhat amused to think of the order just sitting there for nearly a month before it got fulfilled (because even ship cargo would travel here faster than 21 days). I had to email customer service when the 21-day window had passed, because--no surprise--the order hadn't been shipped! It was shipped quite promptly after my email.

I must say I was expecting much better packaging and shipping. The box was destroyed. This was reported to the shipper at receipt. The coat was not in plastic in a oversized box that became dirty and crushed. Sloppy to say the least. When shipping this distance more care is required. My initial online store experience was promising as there was a good range of brands in sizes that are hard to find locally. Unfortunately, it seems my order got lost in their system and wasn't despatched until I had chased them up several times. When they discovered the error they were very apologetic and even gave a goodwill discount. The items were then shipped and arrived within days. I would buy from them again.

The gloves were too small, and I have the same pair, both marked Small but the ones fro you are much smaller than the others. Don't know why that should be so we are returning them and request a refund. Your delivery and all other parts of the experience was good however!!

Quality at a reasonable price, great selection and prompt delivery so why only 3 stars? Because to be a top online clothes shop you need a simple free returns policy so customers can order a few items, try them on and return those that are not right for them, easily and without additional cost. Competitors do provide this service. Farley would be more attractive if they did too.

I purchased women telluride zip boots which were advertised as water proof. On the second day of wearing I walk the dog through ankle length wet grass. The toe area of my socks was wet when I arrived home so therefore not waterproof. Comfortable boot but very disappointed That if fact these boots are NOT waterproof.
