I telephoned A. Farley to check on the calf measurement prior to ordering a pair of size 3 Galway Boots. Based on the sizes listed on the product on the Farley site, and the assurance from the colleague I spoke to, that the boots were a 'generous' fit, I ordered the regular fit. When the boots arrived, I couldn't squeeze my foot into them. Upon measuring them with a measuring tape, I found them to fall short of the measurements stated. I e-mailed Farley on (7th Nov and again on 13th Nov) to say that I was unwilling to pay £8.95 delivery charge to return the boots - I received no reply! UPDATE - 16 November 2023 I have received an e-mail containing the return DPD label which I appreciate. The boots have now been returned. I do think feedback is necessary to Dubarry by their stockists with regard to the calf measurement on the smaller sizes. A size 3 (36) does not mean that an adult has child-size calves! The Galway boot is a beautiful boot but their sizing needs to be reviewed.

No problem with the product when it arrived. The problem was the process. When I ordered, I had an email to say to download a Shop app that would track my order. When package didn't arrive after few days (my expectation), I tried to use the app which did not display my order at all. So I had to call customer services, who said the app doesn't work until the package is despatched - so what was the point in that! The package did arrive after a week (5 working days) which was ok but I was put to bother because of the faulty tracking system. Shame.

Surprised I didn’t receive email confirming dispatch. All other companies I use keep me informed of order progress. Opted for standard delivery so parcel took over a week to arrive. Lost the enthusiasm for purchase so probably will not order from you again.

On-line department leaves a little to be desired. Slow in despatching. Think a shake-up is required. Best optiion is to call the shop at Kibworth, or visit in person. Great personal service and great products. Ask for Ryan. Really nice chap and makes you feel like you are receiving a very special individual service. Thanks for your help and support Ryan.

The purchase was ok, but I still don't have my order, as DHL told me I wasn't at home. this cannot be, as I am not mobile at the moment and cannot leave the house. I now have to organize somebody to fetch my parcel at the coop in Pickering. I don't think that is very helpful.

I can't give an accurate star value as they wildly went from hopeless to very good. First up they advertised a sale when the current price for my selected garment was £30 cheaper. This was literally overnight. Then they said (good) I could have my garment at the lower price. Getting better. Then I ordered my selected garment at the HIGHER price; in order to get it at 15% off which made the difference negligible. Good. Then (bad), I ordered a nice, expensive lumberjack shirt. 10% off. The original item was on next day delivery. The shirt was not. Meaning; I did not get my original order (a Barbour) as it was held back pending the arrival of the shirt coming into stock. So: if you order two items just check the delivery times. Then; (excellent). Holly and Phoebe sorted this all out. I got my Barbour the next day. Then the shirt a few days later. Result: they are a good company with excellent customer service. I would use them again.OK 5 star customer service. Managers need to be more aware. 2 star management saved by your brilliant CS.

After a visit to their shop last year I found they sell my favourite chinos and saw a pair in their sale which were an uncommon and nice colour. I decided I would try and purchase a pair this year. I logged onto the web site and found the still stocked them, and placed an order for my size. The web site was good and easy to use and the free delivery and all communications were prompt. Unfortunately, when they arrived they were the wrong colour!! and just a normal/common brown colour and not the caramel colour I desired! I did however decide to keep them, as they are still the standard and quality of chinos I like to wear.

This style of trousers are only made in this Brown colour but are named from Meyer as the colour 'Caramel'. This is a new seasonal colour produced by Meyer for Autumn Winter 2023, the trousers you tried on last year in our shop may have been a seasonal colour from the previous year. I Purchased a pair of Harklia Asmund Trousers, great feel & fit but the quality is questionable, first day out a thorn tore through the knee fabric, the web image gives the impression that the knee is reinforced, also it would be good if "standard" leg measurements were available rather than an unfinished hem so the trousers are good to go rather than needing to be proficient with a needle and thread !

I bought the item (Dubarry Antrim boots) and paid for 3-5 working days delivery, and was told I would receive notification when they would be despatched. I heard nothing and messaged A Farley a couple of times asking for an update. To be fair, I sent them to the sales address, but my messages should still have elicited a reply. I did get a response once I messaged customer service. The 3-5 workings days should have seen my order arrive Weds - Fri last week. They arrived the week after, on the Tuesday. So what? some might think. The ‘so what’ is my boots arriving late, and not much urgency behind responding to my request for an update. You buy something, you expect someone to even pretend that they care. Not great. In comparison with other companies, somewhat behind in delivering a decent customer service, is my take on it.

Prices ok, but £8.95 for a return label and very slow to dispatch. (Took a full week to receive some boots after ordering- Tuesday to Tuesday).

Great product and price, poor communication. I waited the 7 working days for delivery nothing arrived and no contact from A Farley Country Attire. I phoned and the item was delivered the next day.

Very disappointed by my Hoggs moleskin trousers. They turned out to be very expensive jeans. And it would costs me £8+ to return them Have baught Hoggs moleskins for 50 years and now they are only jeans. Not Farleys fault.

Quality product.....when I eventually got it. Ordered a Gilet and a few days later was called to say my colour was not available. I accepted an aleternative colour. Two weeks later nothing had arrived and I called back to find out what had happened. The information from the follow-up phone call had not been passed to the Warehouse. The assistant apologised and said it would be dispatched with a 3-5 delivery time. The prodict eventually arrived a week later.

Bought a pair of shoes. Included with the order was an offer of a free pair of cedarwood shoe trees (£35...as advertised on website - and which were itemised on my order summary). Shoe trees did not arrive. On phoning Customer services, I was told that shoetrees were no longer on offer and had been removed from the website. This clearly was not the case (as I write this, the offer is STILL on the website). The agent said that Farleys were now sending out some polish as a substitute. I pointed out that if this was the case, where was my polish as I hadn't received that either! It's not a big deal.. but just think it is a little disingenuous to say the customer is getting something - and then told they are not getting it "after the fact". Without this hiccup, I would have given Farleys 5 stars. Delivery and Staff were very good.

Belt is excellent, and good value for money. Postage and packing is not cheap however especially as they were VERY Slow to dispatch to the point of having to send an email to chase up order. They never did respond to my email but interestingly the dispatch confirmation popped up same day.
