On the whole, this firm is just about ok, but when I ordered a case last November , and asked after a few days whether they couled expedite despatch ( I was going away ) I met with a brick wall. They said they coukd ask thd warehouse ( not that they would ) but it would make no difference ! This time, as well as the items that I had ordered, they also sent an expensive coat ( obviously in error, - I was not charged of course. ) I went to some trouble to send it back. I have confirmed on the DPS site that it has been delivered , but an e mail of thanks and confirmation would not have gone amis. I would have said nothing , but if you don't want the honest truth, don't solicit a review.

I have had a massive amount of help from all at A.Farley. I purchased a pair of Harkila boots in the past and recently purchased another pair but the low design. Extremely happy with both pairs and looking forward to purchasing an Harkila Gilet in the near future. Thank you to everyone that I have spoken to

Fabulous boots, everything I'd imagined they would be. If anything, acknowledging there are busy periods in any business, delivery times could be improved slightly.

Ordered two items for Christmas on 10th December. Despite customer services assuring me on three occasions that the items would be received by Christmas, they didn’t. One item was received after Christmas and one item never arrived at all. I was never contacted about the missing item. I had to call customer services yet again to request a refund. Very poor service wouldn’t use the A Farley again.

Dubarry boot bag great quality, bought to protect Galway boots although sturdy enough to throw in and out car easy to clean plenty of room I added boot tree and loose enough not to rub against leather. Discount for 1st purchase, free delivery came within 3 days best price I found in UK.

I will never buy anything from this company online. I purchased a coat on the 15th of December with express delivery from 3 to 6 days three weeks later following countless phone calls and emails being ignored they sent me the wrong coat!! so I drove an hour to personally deliver the wrong coat in store which was no help because the online shop and the store in Leicestershire are two separate entities. Jenny the store manager was very friendly and helpful to the best of her abilities and reassured me. They would send the coat out in a few days time. Two weeks later I get an email from the company with a refund and NO COAT!!!

Always look for the good in any business I buy from. However, got to be honest here. After ordering Wellingtons on 3rd January & stating a 3-6 DPD delivery window, there was still no sign of my order after 10 days. After numerous conversations with the robot and no further on, and phone lines saying not being answered because of volume of orders & the same with responding to emails – I finally got through to somebody on 20th Jan. They were issued that day, and finally arrived on 26th January. I have to say the lady I spoke to was very polite and apologetic and offered me a small gift as gesture of goodwill. However, the Wellingtons I ordered for a long weekend away on 13th January, did not arrive as promised. 23 days turnaround is poor. But what was more frustrating is the lack of communication. if they had contacted us telling us of their influx of orders and potential delivery time, it would've given me the option to cancel and purchase elsewhere. If we made our clients wait 23 days in our business, we'd have no clients left. Finally, the Wellington I ordered were a size 6 UK but the ones arrived were size 7UK fortunately with my insoles and two pair of socks, they're okay as I couldn't face the hassle of re-ordering. I'm sure this company has provided a good service for many others - but unfortunately for me, it has put me off purchasing anything else in the future. I wish them all the best.

After ordering my size shoe, I had them delivered to find they are too big. Then I find out they don't have a size smaller. What has REALLY annoyed me is that send them back AT MY COST. how rude and ridiculous is that? I hope to get a refund fairly soon. Now I have to waste my time looking for a very nice pair of shoes for my wedding.

Sorry but my experience was not good the whole shopping experince ws poor even returning the goods at my expense was bad when compared to say Gant UK and other web retailers
