Worst company ever. My poor relative (no I haven't told them as I don't want to upset them) has bought our family a number of these gift experiences and all end up in the bin. £100s wasted!!! Every single time I attempt to validate I end up with an F code error!! Which then follows having to communicate by email and never ends up being resolved before the voucher expires - if ever!! Do not buy! Next time I get one it will be returned straight to the retailer. Which so far only Debenhams was good enough to refund as they'd had a lot of customers complaining of similar issues.

Very disappointed with customer service re my request for a mistake made on the card. The gift message started with Dear Dearest Anette" instead of "Dearest Anette and the rest of the short message was not inclyded! I requested for a new card to be sent with the correct wording and message to be included but I did not get any response and the birthday is soon! Alk I keep receiving are more promotions and reminders but not an apology for the mistake made and get it rectified!I It is also frustrating that there is no telephone contact number for customer service for assistance.

We booked a weekend away via these crooks, but couldn't go. The day before we were due to travel, my wife had a serous injury while training in the gym, which meant we couldn't make it. The medial advice we received, was clear, my wife needs to rest and cant travel. We informed these crooks with 20 minutes of speaking to the Doctor. We have written prove of my wife's injury from our Doctor. These crooks are unwilling to rearrange or refund, they prefer to rob our £170. Currently taking them to court. They are blaming the hotel, my contract is with these crooks not the hotel. DONT USE THESE PEOPLE.

Customer services refused to help with an expired voucher. Only a few months out of date, but absolutely no flexibility from this company. They give a short 18 months validity, when UK Government recommends minimum 2 years and other countries such as Ireland require 5 years. I hope anyone reading these reviews will note that all positive reviews are related to the voucher purchases (they are very happy to take your money), but all negative reviews are related to using the vouchers. Don't waste your money or place the recipient of your gift in a difficult position. The chances are that your money will just build the profits of this company and not be used by your friend or relative.

I purchased a voucher for my son to experience one of the adrenaline activities. When booking there was hardly anything available - only paintballing. On arrival the children changed into the outfits ready to play. I gave in the form and was utterly shocked to discover that to play you had to purchase the paintballs at a cost if £181 - wow really how is that an inclusive activity. I was so embarrassed because I didn't have that sort of money, the children were ready to play and their parents had left. I contacted head office by phone and was greeted by a rude and unhelpful advisor, he put the phone down on me when I asked to speak to a manager. By this time the children had missed the first game. I then pleaded with the manager at the centre to reduce the cost. He eventually took it down to £81, still a rip off but I had no choice to pay. Please be warned you will pay extras and the experience is not inclusive. I had previously enquired about other costs via email and was sent a cut and paste response with no details of the actual costs I would incur. You wouldn't go bungee jumping and get to the edge only to be told it would cost an extra £100 for the rope! Obviously I contacted the company about the extortionate hidden costs and was greeted with yet again cut and paste response I am still in shock that I paid for the experience but had to cough up additional monies for the children to access it. Absolute con - my advice go directly to the activity and pay there, this would save you lots of money Date of experience: 08 June 2024

When you choose Paintballing for Eight from your Adrenaline Choice Pack, it indicates, “Paintballs are not included, but you are welcome to purchase as many as you like on the day.” I apologise if this detail was missed. I understand that you contacted us before your booking with concerns about the location and questions regarding what was included. We provided you with the experience provider's direct phone number so that they could address your concerns and make any necessary changes. We are sorry to hear that you found their team rude and unhelpful, we will pass this feedback on to them, as it is certainly not the standard we expect from our experience providers. We are sorry that you feel our responses felt ‘cut and paste’, I can see that our customer service team did investigate your issue by speaking with Delta Force Paintballing regarding the costs, we came back to you with their response and copied in the overview of the experience which does state that the activity does not include paintballs. We have relayed your review to our Customer Service Manager who will be in touch shortly to provide an amicable resolution.

Do not buy night stay and dinner for 2, barely any places to use it and if you find a place it's not available during summer months or weekends. Need to book weeks in advance as so slow to get back to you. Would not recommend

Do not use this company, they are the worst for communication, we were bought a gift for white water tubing, they have fallen our with the business, refuse to give any kind of refund and won't give dates to complete the activity because they don't have them, avoid!!! Use buyagift, virgin or red letter, anyone other than these fraudsters

A complete waste of time and money and so embarrassing to have to explain to the gift giver that it was useless. The way you have to book, you have better odds of winning the lottery. Your good friend pays them an amount of money and they are supposed to deliver you the experience, however in order to book you have to guess when they might have availability for three dates and times, then they go off and check for about 48 hours and then they say ‘ sorry, wrong guess again’ so you have another go and guess what? wrong again. You get fed up and ask if they would like to tell you when your experience might be available within a 100 mile radius of your home and they send you emails back that list a few in perhaps the Isle of Man or in Devon if you live in Scotland. The whole business model is based on people giving up and carrying on with their life before the whole booking experience drives them insane and then they pocket your friends lovely gift money and make a lovely profit. Well done activity superstore, eventually your poor service will finish you off through disgruntled customer word of mouth. Rake it in while you can as it’s not long before your company disappears into dust just like a large percentage of your vouchers do.

Booked a F1 simulator experience for hubby,when I came to book the venue was told they were closing and could no longer book it emailed activity superstore told to book something else which we tried (£40 exta) to be told we couldn't book because of non payment from activity store ,told we can't get refund.

I would avoid using this company at ALL costs. Cancelled my ticket to Bear Grylls on the day. Leaving my 13 year old screaming crying. No contact number - no responses to emails ans no help whatsoever. The third problem I had with the company since buying the voucher. Firstly they validated it for someone else. Then they wouldn't refund it. They've lied to me telling me - the activity was fully booked for the time that their booking system allowed it to be booked for - when bear grylls adventure themselves confirmed the park closes at that time and no activities are held at that time. To fully cancelling the tickets - receiving a refund for themselves - I'm unable to speak to a single person - and even when trying to bring the order details up it now says activity has been redeemed. Again no response, no contact point and a disgusting vile set of humans beings destroying children's plans to enjoy their holidays. Avoid disappointment, frustration, anger and upset by just booking direct with the companies and avoiding this sh!tshow entirely.

A complete waste of time and money! Absolutely awful. Booked a 'James Bond' driving experience and paid extra to upgrade it. We arrived on the day (after travelling some distance) and were told that our voucher was invalid and we could not participate. Attempted to contact customer service on the day and they were unavailable by email, live chat and no phone number so we had to go home disappointed. Tried to fix the problem a few days later to rebook / get a refund and was met with a completely blank wall, refusing to take responsibility and passing it off to another company.

Very soon after receiving a voucher as a gift it was validated and an initial search made for its use. 'Charming Inns and Rural Escapes' was the advertised headline and the basis of our attraction to the voucher. The initial search of available venues, whilst not exhaustively thorough, suggested that there were no venues remotely answering this description. All those viewed appeared to be budget hotels in city centres. This was so dispiriting that we put the voucher to one side intending to have a more thorough look if we recovered enthusiasm. The hope was that, buried away somewhere, there might be a venue with at least a passing resemblance to the advertised description. We never got round to it, the voucher has expired and money lost. We feel victim of a marketing trick of being attracted to purchase something not on offer and only being in a position to find this out after purchase and validation. Only at this point is there first full sight of available venues. Others beware and exchange or refund as soon as you encounter dissatisfaction!

Very poor. I was gifted a helicopter trip which was impossible to book. Went through their process then waited for the further instructions which never came. The voucher has now run out and surprise surprise they don't want to know. This is the second one of these experiences that has been a total waste of money. Never again.

Given that this was more than two years ago, and the voucher had a validity period of 12 months, we regrettably cannot extend its expiration date. Very difficult to book and even to understand how to book! The original thing that was bought for us was the Kitchen Table Experience but this is just not available and so we have exchanged the voucher but again it is not at all easy to understand how to go about booking. You really need to make things far simpler for people to use your vouchers.

The process of registering is over complicated. The choice of hotels is very limited and some of the hotel reviews are not very good. Paid to upgrade, and still very limited choices. Paid again to extend the voucher. Not impressed and would not recommend as a gift.

Been using these vouchers for 4 or 5 years and also buying them as gifts for other people. This years experience we didn’t even bother going on our 2 night stay in the end as there was probably less than half the options left in the book available.whenever we tried to book they was fully booked or no answer, some hotels or pubs didn’t even know they was on the list. Previous years they have been good experiences but not this year unfortunately.
