“I would like to express my gratitude to Cordula for her help in pursuing my claim and recommend ACL to any prospective claimants. I was mis sold a Rowanmoor SIPP in 2011 for which I received some compensation in 2016 after pursuing a claim by myself. The amount was well short of the full value of my work pension which had been invested in an overseas development and I thought I would just have to accept the loss. However, when I read about ACL online and it’s positive reviews I decided it might be worth trying again. Cordula explained how the process worked and that it would take time with no guarantee of success. She kept me informed throughout and provided support in completing the various paperwork when I was feeling it was a lost cause. I am delighted to say her perseverance paid off and I have just received further compensation which comes close to completely restoring the value of my original pension. I can’t thank Cordula enough for her efforts in redeeming this shortfall.”

“I invested my pension into a SIPP for an income in retirement which turned bad after a short time. I had a complicated claim due to circumstances but Cordula & her team have helped me receive compensation through the FSCS. It has been a very long 10 year battle with two claims, the second after the first one was rejected but Cord persisted, fought my corner & finally won. I am so grateful of all her help in knowing which way to turn next, going after the right people & keeping me informed on the progress of my case. 5 stars from me, I would have no hesitation in recommending Cord & ACL to everybody. “ACL, Cordula, has helped me on two occasions after I was conned with my life savings from my personal pensions plus a large loan I took out to buy into an investment for a income in retirement. Cordula was great in every respect, from investigating the history of my case to informing me how things were progressing and keeping me optimistic about the possible payback via FSCS around the dodgy investment company and pensions advisors. “Several years ago I invested my pension money into several companies on the advice of an advisor called Greg Hallam. He turned out to be a very poor advisor and with the exception of one investment I lost the money. Saw an advertisement on line from ACL which specifically talked about Greg Hallam so I contacted them. Was very sceptical about getting any compensation but on the advice of Cordula I authorised ACL to start a claim. Thanks to Cordula and her team I have received substantial compensation mitigating my loss.”

“Brilliant, always positive, and a friendly warm person, Cordula managed to recover more than I thought was possible. Despite being told no three times, once by the company who swindled me, then the FCA initially said they could not investigate, Cord told them they could. The FSCS also originally said they could not investigate, again Cord persuaded them that they should. Throughout, Cordula kept battling confident in her knowledge and ability. Cord kept me informed at every step of the way with regular updates and telephone calls. I am very grateful to Cord and her team. Many thanks!”

“My husband and I had made an investment using our personal pensions. To our horror, it all went terribly wrong and we lost all our money. Not knowing what to do or where to turn, we felt helpless. We knew there were companies who promote making a claim on your behalf, but we were always very unsure about them. However, after a considerable amount of time and research, we contacted ACL Consultancy. This was the best decision we ever made!!! Cordula was so friendly and so professional, she explained everything to us and always kept us up to date. Cordula worked so hard on our case, we even had several calls late into the evening due to her being so dedicated and committed to the case. Amazingly, last week we were awarded compensation from the FSCS. We never imagined this was possible and it’s all because of Cordula and ACL Consultantcy. We will never be able to thank you enough. “I had lost all my pension money to a sippy scam, and had very little hope of seeing any of my money ever again. I contacted ACL consultancy as a last hope, and although it took awhile I have just received my compensation. And myself and my wife are delighted with the outcome. And to anyone who says it cost me 15 percent of my compensation, well at least now I have 85 percent of something.i am so very grateful to cord and the whole team at ACL. Thanks Mr D Houston”

“Once again, Cordula and her team have come up trumps in recovering my misappropriated pension fund. Without ACL I would be chasing shadows to try and find out what has happened to my investments and the thought of trying to do all the work they have done on my behalf makes me shudder. If you have any hesitation or scepticism about engaging this company to carry out any work for you in recovering funds or any similar claims, then take it from one who has massively benefitted from their expertise and hesitate no more! ACL are professional, non-intrusive, efficient, informative, knowledgable and above all, honest. They will do everything in their power to ensure the correct outcome from your potential claim. And the fees are very very reasonable in comparison to what a lot of their "peers" are trying to charge. Try them! Worked for me (twice....)!”

“I cannot recommend ACL highly enough. The work and dedication that Cordula puts into every claim is simply phenomenal. Although I didn't end up getting the result I wanted this was not due to ACL but rather the ridiculous decision from the FOS. I was advised by an IFA from a company called Pension Help Ltd, that it would be to my advantage to transfer my DB pensions into a SSAS pension. When I then lost 75% of my pension pot, Cordula took the case to the FOS, on the basis that the IFA gave me the wrong advise and should have told me it is not in my best interest to transfer. The FOS actually agreed that the IFA gave me the wrong advise, didn't explain to me why it would not be a good idea to transfer or give me the pro's and con's of transferring. I therefore thought I had a green light to pursue my claim against the IFA. However the FOS said although I was definitely given the wrong advice, I could not claim as they "felt" I would have transferred anyway. Why would I transfer my life's pension, if a financial expert gave me advice that it would be against my best interest. I transferred because they told me it was to my advantage. Myself, Cordula and another solicitor who looked at the FOS decision, are all completely at a loss as to how they can decide against my claim on a feeling, even though there are hard facts, in the form of a written report from the IFA, showing that I was given the wrong advise. The FOS also stated that this decision was final and that I could not appeal the decision. Absolutely unbelievable.”

“Cord is fantastic, prompt replies, great explanations. I was so distressed when I contacted her because I had no response of the Trustee SIPP my sister had left me after her death and as I am a French resident, I was even more worried. I have been trying for 5 months without success to have a response from them and as soon as Cord took care of my case I got contacted by the trustee in a week. I definitely recommend ACL highly . It is a pleasure to see people so professional and helpful, it is becoming rare nowadays. Thanks again 😊”

“We invested in Harlequin overseas property in June 2011 through our SSAS pension, hoping to get a better return on our retirement. In March 2013, things seemed to be going wrong at Harlequin. When we contacted our agents, they informed us not to worry; they would pull out our investment if they felt it was compromised. With many further calls to our agents, the advice was always the same: we presumed they acted with our interests in good faith. Reading press reports and updates, we got apprehensive about our investment as we could not afford to lose the funds. By May 2017, we had concluded that we had lost our invested money. We had a conversation with Cordula at ACL Consulting. As we remember, we were very Sceptical. Cordula says she will take our case on. Cordula informed us at the time that we were probably out of time. After gathering documents, she felt our case was good, and she would proceed. In September 2018, we lost our eldest daughter to terminal bowel cancer at the age of 40. It seemed everything was going wrong for us as a family, and we more or less gave up. Cordula kept working and was determined to sort this out. Then COVID came along, and things slowed down. We had many emails & calls from Cordula during the period, keeping us informed.. she is a Saint; how she did not throw in the towel, we don’t know. The FSCS was still adamant we had no case to answer, and the case was closed. Battling on Cordula became more determined, not letting go; in October 2023, We had a call from Cordula to keep us updated with progress. The FSCS had reopened our case for compensation with new evidence found. Some six years later, on 12th January 2024, My wife received a letter from FSCS. Compensation to be paid: by the 22nd of January 2024, I received a letter from FSCS that my compensation was also to be paid. The Moral of this story. Contact ACL Consulting, a very professional company that never gives up. Thank you, Cordula, for your diligent work ethic from both of us. Victor & Marion”

“in 2012 i was scammed out of pension savings.....told to invest in land in Florida. After years and years i heard nothing....so one day in feb 2019 i looked at acl consultancy reviews online....so i decided to phone them...best decision I've made ....cor was so passionate about the thing....getting money back for me.....i was ill with worry about the whole thing ....we had to put it on hold....because i was in a trust deed ..so that was 2 years later.....she has always updated when things were moving or not moving.....i came out of my trust deed in jun3 2023 ...and on jan 23rd 2024 i received all my money back a wee bit extra....at the beginning i wasn't all that confident i was going to get anything back...just about 5 years to the day i got 26.000 pounds back..so if anybody is reading this reviewed has been scammed out of pensions. Please get in touch with acl right away....i dont know how i can ever thank cord ....”

“Cordula has come up trumps again. In relation to the Rowanmoor debacle, ACL Consultancy Ltd helped my brother with his FSCS claim two years ago, when the maximum they could give him was paid out. In the last couple of weeks another claim with the FSCS has been paid out and that has made up the total of his pension that he at one time thought was lost. Thank you again, Cordula.
