“I can’t believe we have had a payment through the FSCS but I had faith in what we knew was injustice with my investments. After three and a half years ACL were successful in getting a financial settlement . We had to include bailiffs as portofina would not pay me but with the tenacity of Cordula and the team at ACL they had to pay me my investment , interest , and compensation . Without the help of Cordula and ACL I am sure I would never have received any money I am more than pleased with the payout and am more than happy to pay the invoice that has been sent for all the hard work that they have done. . I would recommend to anyone to use this service because they never give up until we got a positive result . I am currently giving feedback to the FSCS for all they have done too . Once again thank you Cordula for all you have done .”

“Having watched my pension amount deteriorate and after getting absolutely no help from Novia Financial I researched for what help I could get from elsewhere. I came across ACL and after reading good reviews , I contacted them. Within an hour I was contacted by Cordula ( Cord) who assured me all was not lost and carefully explained the process. This was probably about 9 months ago. I filled in all the paperwork Cord sent me and Cord kept in regular touch advising me of what was happening and what was likely to happen. In Dec/Jan she called to say that my claim can now go to the FCS but not to expect an outcome for possibly 12 months . Yesterday , Cord called to say she had received a letter from FCS saying that they would be paying me an amount that far exceeded my expectations. Obviously I was delighted as having just passed retirement age this makes a massive difference to my future plans. Next day ( today ) the payment went into my account. I am very very happy! If you are in this situation please do not hesitate to contact ACL and if you are receive a phone call from Cord then you are in the best of hands Thanks Cord x”

“First of all, we would recommend anyone to discuss a potential claim with Cordula and the ACL team. We got in touch when we found out that our IFA had been placing our pension investments in UCIS which were unsuitable for us as unsophisticated investors and had been hiding the truth from us for many years: we were feeling stupid and embarrassed. Our confidence was at an all time low and we thought we had little chance of redress. Cordula pointed out where we had two realistic prospects for claims and also gave us reason for some optimism, without promising anything. Clearly, they understand the rules that apply to IFAs but also seem to have a proper appreciation for how the regulators and Ombudsman interpret them, and so pick out the details that make a difference to the strength of a case. So while we were pretty skeptical to start with, Cordula kept us informed about progress, and we gained confidence in her rapidly. It also became clear that we could not have made a strong case for ourselves without that critical knowledge. The first complaint has now been successful and we are waiting for the second to be adjudicated. Cordula has been great throughout, keeping us informed and fighting our corner with kindness and compassion. A breath of fresh air.”

“A huge thank you to Cordula and her team for handling and winning my British steel pension claim. I was extremely skeptical at first having heard various accounts of people not getting anywhere with their claims then a friend of mine mentioned ACL consultancy of whom he'd dealt with in the past so I thought I'd give them a call and extremely glad I did. The ACL team especially Cordula were extremely professional, informative and nothing was too much trouble and kept me updated throughout the process. “I was clearing out old papers when I found a box relating to a company who had lost three quarters of my investments. I had been persuaded to move my funds during the 2008 crash to RHAM / Full Circle Asset Management Ltd. At the time, I felt so stupid and such shame that I put the box away and tried to move on. Now finding the box over 10 years later, I decided to do a quick check online about the status of Full Circle before binning it all. I found that other investors had brought cases against Full Circle & looked at the FSCS claim route. I could have done it myself, but thought it would be better to use someone who knew what they were doing. I looked at the reviews for ACL - all seemed positive. I had nothing to lose and didn't really expect anything positive to come of it. I spoke to Cord, who was already knowledgeable about Full Circle & she agreed to review the papers. She agreed to pursue a claim for part of the loss. The pandemic meant Cord had to be particularly tenacious to get all the info she needed. But after a 2 year fight, she won the maximum payout for me. I couldn't believe it... what a Xmas present !!! I can't recommend Cord & her team highly enough. I did nothing except send the paperwork, they earned every penny of their commission. Cord is even keeping my paperwork incase the opportunity arises to pursue a case for the other losses. If you think you have been mis-sold, don't delay, there is a time limit to making a claim. What have you got to lose?”

“I had lost all hope in retrieving any of my pension. I seen an advert while online, I came across ACL Consultancy Ltd, I thought I'll give them ago I've nothing to lose, I've already lost it all with bad management from IFA. I sent an email to ACL, I was contacted by a lovely lady called Cordula, she explained a lot to me over the phone. I emailed the paperwork to Cordula, I knew there and then that Cordula was on a mission to help. With no stone unturned the calls started, emails coming in, it started to give me hope which I never had before. The communication went on for quite a few months. I had a missed call about 18.45 from Cordula, I called back, was told sorry Cordula is on another call, I was told, I'll let her know you called Stephen. Then later on that evening my phone started ringing 20.15 it was Cordula, i wondered if she got time to sleep, always working to help others,we started chatting, my excitement was building as I could tell by her voice it was good news. When Cordula told me my claim was successful with FSCS couldn't thank her enough. I can't thank Cordula and her team for all their dedication and extremely hard work they all put in. A week later my fund were in my bank account minus fees. I can assure you the work that was done my behalf was well worth the fees and services I received form Cordula and her team. They are all amazing at the job they do to help people like me who have lost a lot. I would like to thank Cordula and ACL Consultancy Ltd for their relentless work. “What can we say, just brilliant. We had major issues with a Pension transfer without even realising we may be in a position to seek redress. Cordula took all the details and soon confirmed she thought we may have a case. Our journey started in early 2020 but ACL have been with us every step of the way. We must admit we had no idea of the outcome or whether we would succeed, but yesterday, success!! We are blown away and at least now we have restored some of our pension and can look forward to happier times. The last few years have been really quite stressful and an eye opener into the Financial markets in the UK but if you think you have been mis sold an investment, pension or the like, don't hesitate to fly your concerns past Cordula and ACL. There is a no nonsense approach and you will be told the harsh realities or other wise, absolutely first class, thank you”

“I researched originally to decide who to approach about pursuing compensation and from the reviews and an interview I read with Cordula she seemed the right person. Whilst I could have submitted a claim myself I decided that the time and effort this would require, combined with my lack of experience in this area, would make it time consuming and less likely to succeed. On speaking to her I felt very happy with this choice as Cordula is highly personable and also determined. She pursued three claims for us and succeeded in each one, with the last one taking years rather than months. This was not a fault on her part, but because it was a complicated process and she pursued it and kept us informed. I would recommend Cordula.”

“Mis sold pension. Hi to anyone reading this review. Not so long ago I was in the same position as you,of not knowing what to do. I was nervous and anxious about ringing. Believing it could be another dead end. But as it turned out it was the luckiest thing I have done. Through cord and the team at ACL I have had a surprising and successful outcome. “I found myself in an awful situation regarding my pension, and had lost faith in anyone associated with financial matters. From the outset of my relationship with ACL , I was immediately impressed and reassured that this was a professional and experienced organisation who I could trust to look out for my best interests. Cord was always straightforward, plain speaking and candid about prospects and outcomes, as well as sympathetic to my situation and often very amusing. “ACL is fantastic. I found it so hard to trust anyone following the advice of an adviser employed by Insight Financial Associates and realising that I has effectively lost my pension funds in a Resort Group ‘investment’ in Cape Verde. When I spoke to Cord, she was so understanding of how I felt and what the loss meant. She explained everything clearly and didn’t make any rash promises. She worked tirelessly going through mounds of paper work that I couldn’t bear to look at and put together a case for the Financial Ombudsman. After lots of delays, there was a judgement in my favour but Insight offered a sum that was not as much as it should have been. ACL paid for an independent actuarial calculation of what I should receive. Insight still offered below it. ACL then paid for a Statutory Demand, which finally did the trick. I received the full amount of compensation. Throughout the process, which took over two years, Cord kept in touch and ensured that I understood what was happening. I am sure that her expertise and persistence made all the difference. I could never have done it on my own and I am so grateful for all her hard work. She definitely earned her fee, which is lower than many other claims companies I looked at. I have no hesitation at all in recommending ACL.”

“I was miss sold a pension and had a fist claim by a different solicitor who charged me quite a bit for not doing a great job, then I was told about ACL, what can I say! Just when I thought just about everyone to do with pensions where crooks I finally found people who are not. They reclaimed the rest of what was due to me ( which the first solicitor didn’t do). Very happy with ACL ‘s service, keeping me up to date, fees charged and what I got. Would recommend this consultancy team to anyone. Thanks again cord and team.”
