“I bought the wrong book so I have had to return this and I'm waiting for the new one to come into stock”

“The music arrived fairly promptly. But unfortunately the CD is a bit dodgy. It will only play on one of my 3 CD players. luckily it plays on my cheap portable player. But does not play on my Coomber thats in my teaching studio or my Bose player! Maybe check the CD before sending out. Though that is really the fault with Brass/Wind Publications!”

Hello there, Thank you for your comments. I apologise for the confusion regarding this pull-through. It appears these used to be microfibre but are now made from bamboo and silk. I have updated the product information now. Kind regards and apologies for any inconvenience caused.

“Pic at your webpage show that it contains two cd's , but you delivered it with online stuff. Ik don't like the adds while logging into your website, while i have paid for the book. The Tax which should be paid in Holland make it an expensive book.”

Hello there, Thank you for your review. Most books are changing over from CD to download now and we always recommend checking if you want one or the other. We don't have any adverts on our website. That may be linked to your web provider? There is no tax on sheet music so you definitely shouldn't have had to pay any customs fee on arrival in the Netherlands. Hopefully you can get a refund on that. Kind regards

“I don’t do photos or videos so here is some text. I ordered a copy for myself as my choir is performing this in our summer concert and I like to highlight my alto part. The score arrived very promptly but unfortunately I couldn’t see anywhere on the screen how many pages there were. I know I needed the 1951 edition which the choir was using. The one from you had completely different pagination - much longer than the choir’s copy of c. 80 pp. also some of the numbering within movements was absent in the one I purchased. So bit of a nightmare.”

“They were stronger than Van doren 3s unfortunately and not usuable for me personally but for someone graduating from 3 to 3.5 they woud be fine. I ordered some slightly cheaper 2.5's elsewhere”

“I wasn't impressed by the quality of the case, very stiff, marked and felt sticky. I returned it but had to cover postage, and got a refund. Anthony who I dealt with was very helpful, and on his advice am going to order a different one.”

“Great service and product arrived promptly. It would be helpful to have a level of difficulty as it easier than expected. I had asked via their website about the level of difficulty (ABSRM grade) but I did not get a reply. I think the level is maybe grade 3-4.”

“Overall I’m happy with Ackerman’s service although had a few minor issues. Their packaging although sufficient to protect the contents was just paper and bubblewrap, the paper was ripped in multiple places on arrival and the amount of tape and babble wrap made it difficult to recycle what I could. In addition I ordered some Yamaha slide oil, from the website it was the old style bottle which was the reason I went to Ackerman’s as I preferred that style, unfortunately it was the new style that arrived. There was no explanation to say this is what had been done, so a little irritating!”
