“The service for supplying sheet music from Ackerman was as excellent as it has always been. There was no urgency so I opted for the delivery up to 10 days by post. What Acherman and I were unaware of was the Post Office is now sacrificing nonn-complainable services, such as second class post. I live in a semi-rural area, effectively a village, and my postman went on holiday. I did not receive any post to my home for a week and same happened to other people incuding the village shop. When my usual postman arrived with a large bundle of post he told me it had been stacked, ie undelivered, because he was on holiday and he was not replaced for his holiday. Apart from the appaling deceit perpetrated by the Post Office there is breach of trust or assurance that 'ordinary' post will arrive as expected. This is the first time I have ever posted an anonymous reveiw but I do not wish to give my name as it is unusal and the name of my postman could be discovered and I have no desire that he loses his job. However, Ackerman, you may like to revise the 10 days offer of postage on your website. This was not fulfilled in my case.”
