Our website is continually growing to and unlike many of our competitors, we are backed up by over 20 years of knowledge, over 120,000 square feet of warehousing and some of the largest oak and pine showrooms in the UK. Also we do not rely solely on imports, we have many suppliers in our portfolio with many from the UK this allows us to provide the very best in oak, pine or painted furniture and also the ability to provide made to measure items too.

“The shop is large & has a large range but I was particularly looking for smaller club chairs but found more armchairs. The displays are packed in but atmosphere relaxed which makes it easier to try out the furniture and the staff are helpful & polite. I particularly like the flexible approach, being able to buy direct from the showroom, without ordering, but you can order furniture too. The furniture for sale seems good quality & prices are competitive enough, although I'd have liked to see some seconds, or end of lines for cheaper pieces for a wider choice.”

“Excellent quality furniture at very good prices. Friendly, knowledgeable staff both in store and delivery, available but not intrusive when you are browsing. We've furnished most of our house with furniture from A World of Furniture.”

“I contacted World of Furniture as one of our sofa arm covers is damaged and we require a replacement. I was phoned back by the Blandford store and was able to easily order a replacement. Thank you.”

“We are enervating are bungalow and would like furniture that will last but not brake the bank, I bought a coffee table and rug for the moment I have complex PTSDanxiaty and my card wouldn’t work but the sales guy was great gave me time to sort it out and realise old card well recommended”

“Excellent service from both Salisbury and Blandford stores. Firstly, went to Salisbury and items not in stock; checked Blandford, who had the items we were looking for. Travelled there and rather than have to wait for delivery we were offered the items from the store… perfect! We were able to take the items home and they look fantastic … thank you for the excellent choice and service.”
