I gave them one star only because I couldn't give them zero. First of all (more of an fyi) Easirent is a company who’s Phoenix airport pickup is actually outside of the airport. You have to walk to the visitor parking lot and wait for a shuttle. The shuttle then takes you to an off-site office. There is another company that does this as well, but the difference is that they have 3 shuttles come in the time that it takes Easirent to send one. When we arrived at the rental place we were with 3 other families. We were informed that they only had 1 car available. We were informed that they had “40 cars that were supposed to be returned” but that were still out. They claimed that they had no idea when a car would be available. After waiting 30-45 minutes they were able to find a car for us to use. Prior to obtaining the car, we had to pay what was explained to us as a “holding fee”. Due to the craziness of the experience and the extensive amount of time we had spent just getting the car we admittedly did not pay as close attention as we should have to what we were signing. A few weeks after returning the car I kept checking to see if the amount had been refunded to our credit card and it hadn’t. Upon further investigation what we had signed and paid for was actually additional insurance. This was insurance that we didn’t need (as we had already purchased additional insurance, plus we had our own coverage) and wouldn’t have agreed to had we understood and paid attention to what we were signing. I attempted to explain the situation and receive at least a partial refund, but they refused. Why didn’t they have it in their system that we had already purchased additional insurance? Or did they know and they had us purchase more anyway. And they never asked for proof of our personal car insurance. While we were renting the car we realized that the registration in the glovebox did not match the license plates that were on the car. The registration was for different plate numbers on Florida plates. The plates on the car were Texas plates. As soon as I realized this I called the Phoenix office. The first thing the woman recommended was for us to come back to the rental office. I informed her that we were over 2 hours away and that we were not going to waste time and money on a mistake that they had made. I informed her that they needed to bring someone to us and bring the correct registration. The woman stated that I would need to speak with a manager. She told me that I should leave a message, explaining the situation and that someone would call me THAT DAY to resolve the issue. I never heard from anyone. I will NEVER use this company again and would highly recommend that you don’t either.

Quote doubled when we went to pick up the car. Ended up leaving the airport by Taxi and renting from another company for half of the price. Never again!

I gotta give credit where credit is due, I flew into Houston (Bush) on Friday 3/14. My uber ride from the airport to the hotel (7 miles) was right at $50. Seeing that I was gonna be there for the whole weekend figured I may as well rent a car if 1 uber is $50. I looked on Priceline and saw that Easirent had a Hyundai Santa Fe "or similar" for appx $20 a day. I booked it for the next morning (Sat.) and picked it up as soon as they opened. I paid Priceline the initial $40 and when I got to Easirent, I opted for the toll pass ($15 per day for Sat/Sun) but was able to use my own insurance to cover the rental. My rental was right at $90 total...($40+$30 and whatever taxes & fees they add). I'm cool with that cause as I said earlier, Ubering around the whole weekend didn't make good financial sense. The only kicker was the $250 security deposit which I was prepared for but it did kinda sting a lil' bit. I was given a brand new Nissan Rouge w/ maybe 2400 miles. It was clean and didn't smell like smoke. I enjoyed my weekend... Fast forward to Sunday, I checked out of my hotel and I brought the Rouge back filled up. There was no damage to the room or on the rental so there's no reason either business would have to keep my deposits. Easirent provided me a shuttle to the airport and I flew back home. Around Wednesday morning my hotel deposit was returned and I was like, "ok Easirent, any day now." I started to get a little worried so I went online to see how long they take to return security deposits. I ended up reading the reviews on Easirent; why on Earth did I do that? Everything I read was horrible, "EASIRENT IS A SCAM... THEY KEPT MY SECURITY DEPOSIT...IF I COULD GIVE NEGATIVE STARS I WOULD" I was so shook that I ended up calling Easirent just to make sure everything was good. Thursday morning I checked my balance and there it was, all $250. Easirent did right by me so I feel that its only right to praise them when they're doing right cause ya'll giving them the BLUES for doing everyone wrong.

Never again will I rent from Easirent. Called from the pickup location in Austin TX. They said they were closed so we were stranded at the airport. The next day the shuttle took me about 15 miles away from the airport to their location. Even though I was paying for my reservation which began the previous evening they said I needed to pay a late pickup fee. The car was in bad shape. The air conditioning did not work so we were driving through Texas in the heat with hot air blowing on us! Could not turn off the heater! Had to stop periodically to cool down. Stay away from this company!

at IAH...On average wait time to get a vehcile is 3 hrs, staff is not very helpful. Instead of giving a car they try to have you givethem 5 star review. Thier car rental prices are low but bad service. Regardless you make booking and checkin in advance or checkin at site still there is wait of few hours before the get you a vehcile.

They did not have my car available and told me they would upgrade for free. They charged me $115 upgrade fee that I never signed off on. I contacted the manager and was told she would contact corporate and take care of it. Never contacted me or gave me a refund. I have contacted the state attorney and they told me to file a fraud complaint. Monday morning I will do so and encourage anyone else who has negative dealings with this company to do so. The more complaints the better chance of action.

RUN!!!! Worst shuttle service. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! They scam you on fees. Bully the elderly into paying for insurance they don't need. The three women working at the newish Phoenix Az spot are the worst representation of helpful customer service EVER. There was a poor woman from Italy desperately trying to get her car, manage her family, there is nowhere to sit, and communicate with women that only want to talk to each other and BLAST Videos. There is a sign up log when you walk in but you wouldn't know it because there is nothing to indicate it and no one there will tell you. So you can stand in line as long as you want, and with 2 people helping you, the third left in the middle of a line of people stating "That was my last car", you wont be helped because...you didn't sign the LOG. THEN...there is nowhere to indicate where to stand outside to wait for the Shuttle so when he arrived he pulled 45 feet further forward and YELLED out the door "WELL, if you are going to all stand where I need to park you DESERVE to walk to get on the bus" DIRECT QUOTE I have been renting cars for years...this is the WORST I have ever seen. They need to go back to Miami. That is where this branch flooded in from and imported many of its workers because no one here wanted to work for them, and they wont pay Airport fees so they cannot be onsite. The shuttle drivers own words RUN...JUST RUN

Scumbag scammers ! They coerced me in to buying a $124 Florida Sun Pass at the Jacksonville depot, when in reality I could have used my existing E-Z Pass, or just paid for the minimal tolls I would have accrued on a one week rental. I’m inclined to contact the FLORIDA AG about this fraudulent practice.

Do yourself a favor- JUST DON'T do business with these lowlife bottom feeders! This company is truly the WORST in every way possible. Part 1- getting our car took 3 hours, it's disorganized, managed by morons. They make you get your declaration page to your insurace (their way of trying to force you to buy their insurance,.) anyone not tech literate was just screwed. You had to sign in online and scan you license in to system. Counter help was ok but toallt divorced from what is happening around them. Thwy give no warning, diection or guidance to the crowd in front of them. Part 2 - the car. It seemed ok, was new chevy trax...untill we tried to gas it up. It would NOT let us put gas in from the pump. We did not have enough gas to get to the airport and car return.

Check the dates on your drivers license. It must show that you have had it for a year. I changed my name and the re-issue was less than 12 months so they wanted to charge me extra. Crooks.

Easirent is the worst car rental business in the world. Flew into West Palm Beach airport, shuttled to Easirent location. they made us jump through hoops. We had to produce our insurance card and a whole other bunch of bull. After all that they told us they did not have any cars. Had to shuttle back to the airport with no transportation. Having being trying to get our refund since the beginning of November. This company is a scam Stay Away. They don't deserve any stars at all

This company should be shut down. They are scam artists. I reserved a car via Priceline with a price quote. I waited over an hour in their line to get the car. The doubled the price with a very small quote in fine print “may be a price increase.” The car wad dirty and d reeked of weed when we finally got it. The line was now over 2 hours so we took it hoping it would air out, but it never did. When we needed windshield wipers we found they did not even work, and we were truly endangered. Upon returning the car I waited an hour to speak with someone and she pretty much blew me off regarding my issues. I was basically told “too bad”This is the very worst travel experience I have ever had. Shame on you Easiret..

This was the worst experience I've ever had. I would never recommend this company to anyone, even if it were the only rental company left on earth. They operate like scammers, and it's truly unfortunate. Back in June, I rented a vehicle from them and was involved in a collision where the other driver hit me. A few weeks later, I received a call saying I was responsible for the damages because the at-fault party's insurance wouldn’t cover them. I was harassed and threatened to pay the fees. Since when is the victim of a collision held responsible for the damages? Apparently, their contract states that regardless of fault, the renter is liable for damages. That should have been my first red flag. Brandon Martinez from their team relentlessly harassed me daily, demanding payment and threatening to send me to collections if I didn’t comply. It became so stressful that I had to involve a legal team because I refused to pay for something that wasn’t my fault. Thankfully, my legal team won the case, but the company still insists on charging me "administrative fees," whatever that means. This company is greedy, money-hungry, and completely lacks empathy for its customers. Their only concern is lining their pockets. Do yourself a favor and avoid renting from them at all costs

Horrible experience renting with this company. They were supposed to pick us up along with two other families that were waiting at the airport in Fort Myers to be brought to get their cars and they never came. Families were stuck getting hotels and the next day when we went to go pick up a car, they did not have any, and the girl who drives the shuttle van called me a liar, and said that she did come by which she never did so we told them to screw off and we were not going to rent a car from them. Our rental was for 8 PM and they close at 8 PM. The manager at the Fort Meyers location sucked too.

Actually, I would give this place a negative star. My plane was going to be delayed. I was told I had to arrive before 10 PM . I asked if it would be OK if I picked up the car the next morning the first representative said that would be fine. When I called back to confirm another representative said no there will be no car for you the next morning if you can’t pick it up on time we will not hold the car. We will rent it to someone else. I I was also told that I could not return the car any earlier than 6 AM and my flight was at 7 AM and they’re actually not located at the airport. I would need to get a shuttle to the airport that runs every 20 to 30 minutes hence I would probably miss my flight. I decided to rent a car elsewhere they would not refund any part of my payment. They said I was a no-show when I actually told them my situation.
