“Fantastic company Ali and the team delivered precisely what they promised! They collected my 16 plate discovery 4 from Devon in early January 2022 and I collected it around 10 days later in full working order . I was kept updated throughout the process with multiple pictures and information Although I would rather not have found myself in this position I was glad to find the team at 4x4 engine rebuilds. Highly recommend them to anyone else who finds them self let down by there Landrover engine !”

“Owner of 2016 (66plate) Discovery 4 that suffered engine failure as a result of seemingly a bodged timing belt change at 100,000 miles at a local JLR specialist …. Spent 2 and a half months waiting for local repair at same specialist that just wasn’t happening, then looked online for other options and found Ali and his team at 4x4 engine rebuilds. I have to admit being located in Carlisle and this business being located in Barking some 340 miles away filled me with concerns and worries that if I sent the car down there I’d never see it again. Decided to make the call if just to get an estimate as was being quoted anything from £7k - £15k at local outfits who couldn’t source replacement engines only to be told that Ali could rebuild engine for approximately half the price of the lowest local quote and would send a recovery operator up to Carlisle to collect the car …. Again alarm bells and concerns but there was something about Ali that put my kind at rest. I was invited to look at independent reviews which to be fair I had already done and found that owners with similar issues with their land rovers had gone through similar concerns and had ALL posted glowing reviews. Ali reinforced the observations by telling me that their policy is to send owners pictures of their cars progress from start to finish so with that I took the plunge and arranged a collection late November 2021. From the moment the car left my sight to the moment I went to collect some 4 weeks later true to word I was sent pictures on a daily basis - from car arriving on site - to strip down - to repair and confirmation of fault - to running - to being foam washed ready for collection. It is fair to say that the initial estimate went up once true extent of damage was known but additional parts were fully explained before I gave consent to continue and I knew that if Ali was recommending something needing doing it was because it did and was not just to inflate costs. Total cost still came under the lowest alternative local quote I had to throw in a salvaged engine of unknown history that in my view would not be as good as my original engine being rebuilt …… Cut a long story short I hope I never have to use Ali’s rebuild services again 😂 🤞 but if I did I would do without hesitation and would readily recommend his business to anyone who finds themselves in the same position I did, regardless of how far away they live. I now have a smooth tight running disco that even seems more economic but that could be because I am still driving it like it’s made of glass 😂 So 10/10 to Ali, Faisal and whole mechanic team and it’s a pity it’s just a bit too far to pop down for all my future services …… thanks guys”

“Ali and the team are excellent. Having been to a couple of places to get the work required on my car quoted, I found them to be very reasonable and knowledgeable too. The team worked tirelessly to get my car back on the road swiftly and I would receive messages as late as 8pm at night to update with the progress. The whole experience was made effortless. Ali kindly arranged collection of the car, kept me up to date regularly, but most importantly have done a fantastic job of fixing our car, which we had been told by other garages was irreparable. The car genuinely has never run as well since we have had it . I Couldn’t speak any more highly of Ali and the team and would definitely use again, as well as recommend to friends and family or anyone else that needs work on their 4x4.”

I got these guys off the internet, was vary dubious due to all other dealings with car repair Garages, I could not have been more surprised. “My experience with 4x4 engine rebuilds was amazing start to finish Ali is very educated in this sector of work also his mechanics my car was seized needed new turbos engine ect he kept my updated throughout the whole thing with WhatsApp picture step by step it was completed before target date which was amazingly 13 days the price is reasonable and the work is perfectly carried out they even gave it a full valet and Tyre pressures screen wash and all the other perks they really go the extra mile I recommend this place massively again Thank you to the mechanics & Ali also Ali’s older brother top guy top customer service and welcoming thank you again!”

“Unfortunately I made a big mistake with too much oil which caused serious damage to my engine and pretty much ended my use of my Range Rover sport. Brought it to a Range Rover specialist who could help and phone calls ended up with me getting some ridiculous quotes. I found 4x4 Engine Rebuilds on the net and the reviews seemed good but you always wonder if the truth would be disappointing. Anyway went to see Ali who completely knew what he was talking about and went to work on rebuilding my engine. I’ve gotta say, that he completely kept me up to date and informed about every step of the process which made, sending pictures of the work and letting me know the progress. The work was completed in a week and he has given me my running in instruction, so crossing my fingers all will be well. So great service from Ali and the team and I left feeling the work had been done to a very high standard. Thanks Ali”

“My car Land rover sport 2.7 special edition. I love this car too much and two boys & my wife also. I drive this long time but was nothing problems just need MOT 12/10/2021. I been one of MOT centre which is I know before. MOT tester advice me that if I put two bottles of cataclean on fuel tank in low fuel level, car will be more smooth. I have been done as his advice but after 10 minutes drive away, car starting seeking and suddenly stopped. I am so unhappy and try to contact with MOT tester but he told me, this is common issues for Land rover range rover. During the time I have spent£440 for fixing but failed. Then I searching Google for good repair centre. Fortunately I found 4×4 engine rebuilds and I applied for price quotation. Mr. Ali who is called me between 10/15 minutes. To be honest, first of all my thought, maybe they are very -----!! But when I have got price quotation and read their review then I excited to contact with Mr. Ali . He spoke with me very friendly and explain to me very honestly. Now I decided that I will rebuilds my car engine from them . They will collect my car 14/10/2021 then I will see what happen next------?”

“It’s not very often I’m impressed by a company, but 4X4 Engine Rebuilds is definitely one of them companies, Ali I’m impressed My Range Rover had a major oil loss, hence new or reconditioned engine needed, it was taken on a transporter to a local garage who said it was beyond them and recommended another garage, paid for a 2nd transporter to deliver it to them, over a week later they informed me it was a bit beyond them and advised I move it to main dealer, couldn’t have happened at a worse time, I was going to spain for 3 months the following week, I searched google and came across 4X4 Engine Rebuilds, read the reviews, and couldn’t find a bad review, all reviews were really praising Ali and his team, spoke to Ali he sent me a quote to recondition the engine, explained in depth the worse scenario price and best scenario price depending on the damage caused, Ali answered every question I had without hesitation. He sent a transporter to collect my car from the garage who couldn’t fix it, 2hrs away from his garage, sent pictures of it being collected and arriving at his place, sent detailed pictures everyday and explained in detail the work that had been done that day 2wks later all complete, cleaned and delivered back to a relative as I was now in Spain I’ve since collected the car completed the 2000 miles and returned it to the garage for a service, as requested by them, all great the car is running perfectly Absolutely fantastic service, as well as price, as a couple of quotes I received were eye watering Would definitely recommend Thank you Ali and your team, you made a difficult and stressful situation easy 👏👏👏”

“We can't recommend Ali and his team enough. Our Landrover engine seized in Febuary after being fobbed off by so many other garages for months we found Ali online. Being based in Cornwall and Ali in Essex we were a little nervous at the thought of someone taking our car so far away but we were reassured and kept updated step by step, from the moment our car was collected, to it arriving in Essex the next morning then from the repair of the engine to the washing and cleaning we were sent photos all the way along. When we collect the car we were invited to have a look around the workshop, it was very impressive! Professional and friendly. From start to finish we had our car back to full health in around 2 weeks. Thank you so much!”
