“My Vauxhall Zafiras timing belt broke destroying the engine. Its a 2010 model that was my dads and since his passing is the only thing I have to remeber him by. We were quoted £6000 at one place but my partner Holly found Engine Fitters for just £1500 and they took care of everything from picking up the car on a flatbed to documenting the process and sending regular updates in WhatsApp via pictures and videos, explaining along the way what was happening. I totally trust their expertise and from speaking to the owner (I believe his name was Ali) its clear he cares about the customers, the business and the work they do. They entirely stripped and rebuilt my engine. Taking time to test it and spot an issue with my exhaust, which they kindly rewelded in house rather than order a replacement part for an additional £350. It brought a tear to my eye picking up the car to see it treated with such respect. We had to wait a few minutes as the car was being cleaned inside and out and turned up gleaming. I can't express how happy I am with the service received and value for money. We were fully briefed on how to care for our new engine over the next 2000, miles as we break it in, knowing we have the garages suppport should anything happen. It really does feel and sound like new and means so much as this car is kept running in my dad's memory. I will definitely return to Engine Fitters for all my future needs, MOT and service. You can certainly trust their professional advice and honesty. Possessions of mine that had fallen under the seat were neatly placed in a pile, nothing missing, no complaints, theres a real level of respect and trust that is rare to find in this day and age. “Found engine fitters on 1stchoice Spares. They emailed me with a price for an engine. I spoke with them built up a trust and within a few days we had agreed a price and they had picked up my range rover from manchester and took it to essex. All the way through they gave me an update on what was happening including pictures. The car had a re conditioned engine and a few other bits done on my range rover vogue. Within 4 weeks the car was ready to collect. The service was second to none. Very pleased with updates all throughout and put at ease with the regular updates. “Wow what can I say, I needed a full engine rebuild on my 3.0 tdv6 RangeRover sport and after reading the other reviews and a chat on the phone with Ali, I decided to go ahead with them. Engine Fitters gave me detailed estimates based on my exploratory investigations and their driver picked up the car very promptly. Throughout the dismantling process, they kept me fully informed, with pictures, of the “Horror Show” and diagnosed the original cause to be a disintegrated oil pump leading to bearing seizure and conrod failure. Work was carried out quickly, in line with original estimates and additional offences were also taken into consideration and rectified at my request while the car was on their premises. I have no reservations against recommending Engine Fitters’ services to other unfortunates with the same fate!”
