“Morning I don’t ever write a review but what can I say about these guys so so impressed my Range Rover sport crankshaft went and I was looking for over a week to find someone to sort it out for me and found these guys from the moment of contact to picking it up was so good I was worried about sending my pride and joy all way to London from Nottingham but they did an amazing job in rebuilding my engine and turn around from start to finish was less than a week my car runs mint and be going down over Christmas to get its running in service by them if anyone wants work doing or engine work then these are the guys to go to Thankyou very much for looking after me and sorting my car out much appreciated Gary”

“What can i say ! this guy got back to us about my sons evoque we were struggling with a code NO ONE COULD HELP OR GIVE US THE TIME OF DAY IN BRISTOL !! he confidently told us the problem, and even showed us where the sensor was, on face time. He went above and beyond his call of duty, to help us out, so impressed !! thank you so much as No one seemed to have a clue what the code was in bristol, with out spending thousands looking for it. wish you were in bristol, but saying that i think it would be worth the hassle in future to send it to you, i will be referring every one i know with a range and put it all over the forums. fantastic customer service and care, some thing you just dont get any more. think you could teach range rover a thing or two. have a brill xmas guys and thank you so much for your help.”

“Absolutely amazing! I had a Discovery Sport that the timing chain snapped on while traveling down the road. After being recovered and speaking to different garages, many said the car was for scrap and others said they wouldn’t touch it. I then rang 4X4 Engine Rebuilds. After explaining the problem, they gave me a quote that I couldn’t quite believe due to how competitive it was, to the point where I had to double check what they said! With that they organised for a recovery truck to come to my address in Lincolnshire and pick up the car on Monday afternoon. I was very wary, as sending your car off to someone in London is a bit daunting as I was unsure if I would see it again, however on the phone they were very re-assuring. The next day I received a photo at 08:30 hours showing me my car had arrived…..at 10:00 hours I received a photo of the engine out of the car. Throughout the week I received photos and videos of the work on the engine which put my mind at rest! Throughout the work, a fault was found with my turbo, and instead of putting a new one without asking and charging me for it, they contacted me and gave another very competent price! By Friday I received a video of the first start up of the car with the new engine rebuild, followed by a messages saying the car would be ready on Monday morning. I organised to collect the car Tuesday, which bought on the next concern….paying. However, I was worrying over nothing as 4X4 engines sent me a full invoice, with a break down of the work completed and the exact monies owed as what was agreed. With that I went on Tuesday to pick it up. The car was fully valeted and in immaculate condition. The guys were so friendly and inviting, even watching me out of the yard and waving me off. The owners/staff at 4X4 Engine Rebuilds are possibly the most talented and professional engineers I have ever come across. Thank you all so much!”

“Fantastic service!! Speaking with Ali before booking in really put any nerves to bed. The team at 4x4 engine rebuilds are extremely knowledgable and answered all my queries. Car was picked up and taken back 150 miles to their workshop where I got a message and picture when it arrived. Throughout the whole process I was kept up to date and sent photos throughout. A week later I was on my way to pick my Discovery back up. Now done 1200 miles and it hasn’t missed a beat, sounds fantastic and so happy to have it back. Thank you 4x4 Engine Rebuild!!”

“Dealt with Ali at 4x4 Engine rebuilds after my engine seized on my 4.4 TDV8, nothing was a problem and Ali organised the collection of the car within 24 hrs. He had a brand new short block in stock and Allocated it straight to me, he new we used the car for our disabled son and put his experienced technicians straight onto the job, I was kept updated with pictures and videos and also direct phone calls with Ali. I also went to the premises to meet Ali and look at the progress, I was impressed with the set up and also the Professionalism of the staff, Ali is also handling our warranty claim for the works carried out. The new engine is completed and the car has been returned, the new engine is running Excellent and even Quieter than when the original one was running with only 41000 miles on the clock. I have recently put my friends in contact with Ali to carry out repairs and servicing on there Range Rovers based on my recommendations of 4x4 Engine rebuilds. I originally contacted a number of other supplier’s but felt more comfortable with Ali as the service was second to none, highly recommended Ali and if anyone wants to contact me regarding my experience then please do so. Cheers Ali and see you soon for the first service on the new engine.”

“Recently had a crankshaft failure on my Range Rover Sport . I live 150 miles away and was selective who repaired the car . I was recommended to 4x4 Engine Rebuilds. Best decision I ever made !. An excellent company with an outstanding team who are better than Land Rover main dealers . Ali and his team took my engine apart and immediately diagnosed the fault . They put my mind and ease through WhatsApp photos and videos , everything was explained to me . I couldn’t possibly be in better hands . Very honest and meticulous attention to detail . “Honest review….After being told that my engine had seized for which ever reason, I was in a predicament of having a £100k+ plus car that didn’t work left me in a position where I was a bit stuck what to do with it. Do I sell it at a cheap price or break it up and sell parts off? I spoke to Ali and he said he could rebuild the engine for what would of been nearly the 3rd of a price of a new one. I was a tad sceptical as he asked for a 40% deposit upfront and he would arrange collection of my car. Even though I’ve never been asked for any money upfront for any repairs on any of my previous cars I thought it was a tad strange. After the car was collected he kept in contact daily providing updates. I have no idea about engines but the photos of it looked great. I collected the car 4 weeks later and he gave me the instructions how to care for and maintain which I followed to the t. I’ve since done 15,000+ and had zero issues. I would highly recommend using Ali as he and his team are genuine and the knowledge is incredible. Brilliant company and I am glad I found them.”
