“Similar experience to many, misleading sales techniques. Free calls that turn out not free, broadband charges without broadband, discounts stop after a period if you don’t extend contract, and these are 7 years long! 84 months, well 24 ok, but next 60 as won’t extend, he’ll!! Stay well clear.”

“Misleading sales and quotes. Discounts expire after 12 months. Actual price being paid is more than double what quoted. Hardware is horrendous. Disgraceful group of companies, directors should be ashamed.”

“Do Not have anything to do with 4com or any of their associated companies. Extortionate prices and very slick sales operation. Total rip off and scam. Currently going through the complaint process with the ombudsman but don't hold out much hope. Do your research and use a small local company.”

“1 Star seems a bit generous to give a company such as 4com. Steer clear of them they mislead you and sell you a contract that promises you will save money if you sign up with them!!!you actually pay double. Still in dispute. Keep away from 4com you will end up poor if u sign up with them”

“DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. We were totally misled by the sales rep who assured us that if we changed our contract to them it would not cost any more than our current supplier. LIAR! Despite numerous complaints about the extortionate monthly costs and the mis-selling of the product, it falls on dead ears. We are tied into a seven year contract which we are unable to get out of. The total cost of our 7 year package amounts to around £31,500. We are a small business and can't afford the monthly fees which went up massively after the first 24 months and we were not advised of this by the sales rep. PLEASE READ ALL THE SMALL PRINT. After the 7 year contract is up, the equipment has to be returned in full. This Company are unscrupulous, uncaring SCAMMERS and something needs to be done about it.”

“**DO YOUR HOMEWORK FIRST!!** **DO YOUR HOMEWORK BEFORE DEALING WITH THIS COMPANY** - it all seemed great at the outset when they wanted me to sign up. Then over time when the extra charges came creeping in and nothing ever made complete sense, I realised that I should have read more closely the real reviews, rather than trust the (incredibly pushy) salesman who promised me something completely different to what I ended up signing up to! The phones are nice, the installing engineers are good, but you have to fight to get the rebates and refunds they tell you that you'll get. Shop around, there are better deals out there. Also be very careful that what they try to sell you is what you're going to get...... MAKE SURE YOU READ ALL THE 1 STAR REVIEWS!!!”

“At the 2 year review (of a 7 year contract), prices will inflate but to counter this you will be offered benefits along the lines of upgraded phones, maybe discount on bills. This comes with the condition that you re-enter into a new contract. They have you for life unless you pay to leave.... AVOID!!!”

“I have had a similar issue, though in our case they signed up a retiring employee as the guarantor on the contract, I have no idea why, so when we took issue with the contract he is apparently personally liable for it, which is incredibly aggressive and unfair in my opinion. We also will be seeking a legal challenge.”

“I am disgusted with what I have agreed to! I was too trusting and believed the 4Com team when they said the 7 year contract would be no bother to get out of. I am now stuck with a 5 more years of a bloated phone system (due to Covid I have reduced my team drastically), bills coming from 3 different companies, a fixed load that is only ending in 5 years time. If I leave, it looks like I have to pay out over £21K and this is after I return everything!? Their legal agreement is incredibly one sided, with pages of small print of which I wish I read every word before signing (and then not signing). I will be seeking legal advice as this is not acceptable. Buyer be ware!”

“They are SCAMMERS, would not send full terms and conditions, do not believe there website,you only get to read the small print AFTER you have signed the SCAM DEAL,then you are locked in to a SEVEN YEAR CONTRACT, AFTER SIX MONTHS YOU WILL REGRET DOING IT,HIDEN COSTS AND CHARGES, CHECK OUT BARK,AND TRUST PIOLET,SCAMMERS”
