“Chose the lowest quote for a replacement manual gearbox for a Citroen Picasso
Installed professionally with new clutch and flywheel but Ist gear not engaging properly. This has proved very dangerous at junctions forcing me to cut my losses and sell the car losing £1500 in the process. The warranty was meaningless as labour costs to remove the faulty gearbox would far outweigh the price initially paid .p”

“Found the spares, they fitted and worked as hoped for.
They arrived very quickly after ordering, ie the next day, and I had them fitted only a few days after.
Very happy, this was for a 2011 grand cherokee a d there doesn't appear to be any other source to get parts.
Very happy hopefully this will give the car several more years of life before trade in, the car is essentially as new with low mileage and the trade on value is so low. So this exercise was worth the effort.”
“Only 2 of the 7 plastic inside mounts were intact the rest were broken off, going to have to make some form of mount before being able to use the part. Not much point in supplying a part if you can't be fitted.”

“The gearbox delivered from the breaker yard was falsely advertised as fitting my car which is rear wheel drive the gearbox supplied was front wheel drive the car I required the gearbox for has never been made in a front wheel drive version and the gearbox I recieved is from a completely different car”

“Not a great experience, i had a quote from JB AUTO in Bury, they sent the wrong model part even though I put my reg number in the search and when i contacted them they were very rude and agressive. They will not cover return postage to return part avaid JB AUTO in Bury AT ALL COSTS!!!!!!”

“Ordered the part last Tuesday 15/1/2025 evening, did not receive the delivery until Tuesday 22/1/2025 and this only happened due to me ringing on Monday 21/1/2025 to check were the part was, only to be told that they would check and let me know. They did not ring me back, so I rang again to be told they were sernding another one out that night , for delivery the next day. This arrived as told at 10.15 0n Tuesday morning. On checking the paperwork this was not another part but the original one as the paperwork was dated 15/1/2025. Had to have a Hire Car for another 3 days due to their inefficiency, Not impressed”
