Q: What happens if a part supplied is faulty?
A: Simply contact the supplying member direct to inform them your part is faulty. The member will usually ask you to return the faulty part and either dispatch a replacement or if they do not have one available, they will arrange for an immediate refund.

“purchase front caliper carrier for nissan terrano, from orange autosalvage. told them i needed the slide pins to be moving free,was sent the carrier with both slides seized was told to soak in wd40 and the told if i sent it back and they freed it i would be charged. the part sent was worse than the part i was replacing and had to pay a garage to free it up. will never use your service again”

“Hi 1st choice was prompt as a service provider but the 2 companies that contacted me saying they had the parts for my vehicle were blatantly wasting my time so its gave me a total lack of confidence in the whole process and makes me wonder is it the right way to try and get parts for my vehicle 2 bad experiences makes you think. The nature of recycled spares is that they are not always available.
If after checking your emails or texts, you do not receive many quotes first time round, it's likely your parts were not available on that day.
With over 150 Breakers nationwide however, between them they are processing literally hundreds of additional vehicles every day.
So if you have not found the parts you need, you can log back into the site and re-send your request automatically.

“I had a very bad experience using this website!
I ordered coil spring only to receive a broke coil spring and when I contacted the seller they asked for a photo which I did send to them but then they asked me to return the spring but it’s very heavy which would cost me a lot in list but they said we will refund after receiving the faulty one back and I told them that I shouldn’t pay the return postage since it was not my fault in the end i asked my credit card to refund me the money as 1st choice are only contacted by email there is no phone number and even after replying to my email they were not interested in helping me solve the matter instead advising me to contact the seller !
Very poor customer service I’ll avoid them at all costs.”
