“I had a difficult old car part to find and was just about to give up when a car breaker company found it. If it wasn't for 1st choice spares I don't think I would have got it. It's also a safe and reliable service to use as opposed to other online untrustworthy services where you can get scammed or don't receive your orders. Thanks 1st choice.

“I ordered a used gearbox for my driving school car. I placed the order after finding MGS Automotive via the 1st Choice Spares website.
I was informed that estimated delivery was 5-7 days - “but most deliveries are completed within 3 days”. After 14 days and having to make numerous phone calls and emails the gearbox still hadn’t arrived. They claimed that they were having problems with their courier service. I received a terse email from their sales manager, correcting me for mistakenly stating that I’d ordered a reconditioned gearbox instead of used, but he failed to apologise for the delay in delivery.
I finally gave up waiting for the gearbox to arrive after 14 days and asked for a refund, which was paid into my account in 24 hours. I now have to order another gearbox from another supplier.
My car is still in the garage and I have been having to pay for a hire car to keep working.
I would avoid using this company if you’re hoping for a quick turnaround. Seriously bad service!”

“The MMI screen on my Audi A6 Had failed and I was quoted in excess of £1000 for a new replacement. 1st Choice spares sourced a number of quotes for a replacement, some were not suitable as part numbers vary greatly between models, but after a fair amount of calls with the various breakers quoting for screens a replacement was sourced and was fitted successfully yesterday and all is well. Great service and network of breakers and I saved over £750. Will definetly use again should anything else break!!”

“Great service in terms of getting quotes quickly & efficiently, so saves you all the legwork. Good that invoices are also routed via this platform, it gives a little extra security.
My only issue has been with the 3rd party I found through 1st Choice - maybe it would be worth checking that partner companies are genuine & trustworthy. Customers will always associate the agent with a poor experience, even though they don't deal with you directly.”
