“That is the best Black Pudding I have ever tasted. It has Bury Market on the run. The mangalitsa pork I had a while ago was also fabulous. the nearest I have had to that was wild boar I had from Germany and it was nicer than that.”

“Local butchers are closing down and sadly we are forced to become more reliant on supermarkets. So it is a real joy to be able to buy produce that supermarkets don’t stock such as offal. Thank you Alternative Meats!”

“I’m really impressed with the quality of products and the service consistently delivered from Alternative meats. The communication with regards to delivery, even when there is an issue beyond their control is dealt with professionally and always in the customers best interest. Nothing is ever too much trouble. “Pies filled all expectations. I note however that the delivery charge was applicable to the Scottish highlands.It is a VERY long way from Selkirk to the Highlands,a fact that you might like to point out to your delivery company. A small point which will not stop me ordering from you in future”

“It's difficult to build relationship with an online butcher (unlike the abatoir / butcher that is 7 miles up the road) ... but their meats do the talking for them + the care that goes into the packaging (well thought through). Keep up the good work ... and maybe oneday we will actually meet up!”
