“Items were well wrapped up and delivery went without a hitch- I was given lots of updates. The Mangalitza pork looks beautiful- can’t wait to try it at Christmas. I have already made home made scratchings with the pig skin. Love the range of good quality meats on offer- you can just see by looking at the meat that it is better quality than in the big supermarkets. I’ll definitely be buying again.”

“It is difficult these days to find a decent bit of beef chuck but I found it here - and welsh wagyu to boot. Beautifully tender and flavoursome when cooked right. Product was delivered quickly and still frozen - what's not to like? Recommended.”

“The meat I buy on here is probably the best I have tasted, I only buy it for special occasions,but,for the price you cannot do any better. Jeannie and Dianne are so helpful on the occasions I need to phone them (which is probably too often) (Thank you ladies!) If you need something special then this is the place to shop!!!”

“I cam across Alternative Meats on the internet when looking for goose breasts for Christmas to supplement the goose I have already ordered from elsewhere. I am impressed by the selection of meat offered. The goose breast and rest of the order arrives speedily in good condition, and the Mangalitza sausages were delicious. Will almost certainly return for more later.”

“Have now ordered from Alternative Meats several times, trying things like rose veal fillet, suckling pig, wagyu beef burgers, veal cheeks, Mangalitza pork etc etc. Everything arrives very well packaged and on time and everything always is of the highest quality. I’ve had very many happy dinner guests! Can not recommend more highly.”
