“First class service. Kept informed throughout. Efficient delivery even if a little expensive as there was a supplemental charge due to location (central Scotland) Meat itself is well packaged and wonderful quality and flavour. I will purchase again but will wait until I can fit a larger order into my freezer to offset the additional delivery charge. On the whole very satisfied.”

Many thanks Sean for your understanding of the delay. Working directly with the farmers does occasionally mean a slight delay with the product but we always like to keep our customers informed.

“Some of the bacon I received was out of date by about 10 days and was mostly fat….3 slices had literally no meat at all. I wouldn’t buy meat from this site again. It’s a real shame as I had high hopes.”

Hello Ben, thank you for spending your voucher with us. The bacon you are referring to is the Mangalitza Streaky Bacon which is a very fatty cut off the belly and is appropriately shown like this on our website. It was labelled with a frozen date which I think you may have misread so it was certainly not out of date. I do wish you would have contacted me if you were unhappy with your order and I would have done my best to work out a solution for you. Shame you didn't do this.
