I ordered a 12”x8”resin crocus & snowdrop house sign at a cost of £101.00 which the website said was in stock on 18/6/2020. I expected to receive a confirmation of my order with an order number by return which is usual when ordering online. I received no confirmation or order number, I checked my bank account and the money had been taken out. I tried calling the number on village green website only to have a answer phone message say that due to Covid staff are working remotely and will answer emails as quickly as possible. I sent an email asking for confirmation of my order and reassurance that the order will be honoured. I received a customer survey back on how I rated the support I received. I had received no customer support so sent back that I was unsatisfied and followed this with a further 2 emails asking for confirmation of my order. As yet I’ve received no communication from village green as to what’s happening with my order and cannot track without an order number. Whilst I appreciate the pandemic delaying service, it is not an excuse for a total disregard of any form of communication and suggest an unprofessional organisation. In the current difficult trading environment you would expect organisation to go the extra mile to respond to customer enquires. In the absence of any meaningful communication since the 18the June 2020, I am left no choice but to commence action to recover my money if no communication is received today.
