The delivery time was a little longer than I had hoped for, but it was via Royal Mail, well-packaged, and delivered within the claimed time-window. The product is first class. The bathroom light fitting is much more robust than the plastic one it replaces; the connection void is made of ceramic material - as is the bulb-holder - making the whole assembly much more heat-resistant. It is an ES bulb-holder - this was not communicated in the publicity. The installation instructions insist that only the supplied connector and wire should be housed in the void above the lamp AND THAT ALL OTHER CONNECTIONS SHOULD BE MADE IN THE CEILING VOID. This is not a desirable practice, really, unless a proper joint-box is used (which would mean widening the ceiling penetration or lifting flooring above. Concealed joint-boxes ar generally discouraged (unless compressed-metal connectors are used). The installer, if competent, will probably use his/her discretion.
