The SAMi has been a lifesaver and we don’t know what we would do without it. We got it when my daughter was diagnosed with nocturnal epilepsy in addition to her other seizure types. With the SAMI we were able to show her neurologist the seizures and the frequency of seizures she was having at night. It was at least 20 per night. Because of that she was put on another medication to specifically help with the nocturnal seizures and it’s been phenomenal. She is able to sleep, she is safe in her bed, and we are not getting up 20 times a night to make sure she’s ok. We can see her, she still has the occasional seizure at night which we are able to monitor with the SAMi.
