I had a fantastic time in the bush with Seed Madagascar, I thoroughly enjoyed the different wildlife transects I carried out plus seeing an amazing variety of wildlife in the process. However some information regarding how Seed Madagascar operates wasn't made clear to me by Pod. This included the fact that Seed Madagascar operates monthly volunteer schemes with a trip at the end of the month. I arrived mid month which meant I did my Berenty trip in the middle of my 4 weeks volunteering. This caused difficulty in settling in as volunteers had already been together 2 weeks and I traveled out alone. It also meant I had extra days at the end of the Seed adventure where I had planned to do the Berenty trip but ended up spending time alone in Fort Dauphin with little to do.
