Thank you Pipers Farm. My cockerel was absolutely delicious. Minimal fuss to prepare I just seasoned and rubbed the skin with butter, stuck it in the oven and roasted it according to the turkey directions. The skin was crispy and the meat succulent and flavoursome. Cold it has remained moist and tasty and (is still!) making excellent sandwiches.
The recyclable packaging was very welcome too.
