Absolutely diabolical service. I placed an order with a gift card on Valentine’s Day to the tune of £21.07. After over 90 minutes, the restaurant called me to apologise and advise me they’d cooked my meal twice, but no driver had arrived. They were confused, as four other Just Eat drivers had been and gone. They said they were closing in around 15 minutes and we agreed I would cancel the order if no driver had turned up in 10.
One hadn’t, so, in agreement with the imminently closing restaurant, I cancelled the order. Whilst I did read that I would be charged, I thought that as no driver had turned up and it was clearly not the fault of me or the restaurant, I would of course be refunded.
Alas, I have have several conversations with different representatives who claim that of course I will not be refunded.
Absolutely diabolical. Do not order from this thieving, underhand and unreliable ‘company’
