I took in a ring for a small repair and waited several weeks for a quote. No response to my emails so rang the store who said it had just come in. The quote was for £702 (ring cost £300)
I declined repair, took it to another reputable jewellers who fixed it for £15.
Although I contacted H Samuel to question their extortionate quote they tried to justify it and curtly made it clear that a customer is under no obligation to use them. So, my advice is DO NOT.
