It seemed efficient but I found that a vehicle had not actually been booked when it had come up on my screen that it had. When it was booked I then had a call saying the vehicle had broken down after 8 miles. When I rang after a little while I was told they still hadn't found one. I said to the man that I'd said the package must be collected before noon as it was to meet a magazine deadline in Edinburgh by 4 pm. I asked what would happen if the package couldn't be picked upsby by noon. He said I'd get thevfinancial refund. BUT I said, the package would not be delivered as intended. he said that couldn't be helped. I must admit I was quite shocked about this. However, a matter of minutes later I heard that a vehicle was on its way. I was sent a mobile number for the driver that only had eight digits and I wanted to describe what the house looked like as there are no numbers on the houses there. So I had to ring and get the full number.
After a very uncertain start the package was delivered by 2 pm so I was very grateful. That driver was very efficient.
