Our recent trip to Iceland staying in the wilderness cabin was truly memorable, we were looked after by Saeli who cooked us a lovely meal and left us with plenty of provisions. Our guide for the three days was Hilmar and we would like to pass on our thanks to him as he looked after us very well on the golden circle tour and drove the super jeep expertly on the Thorsmork tour through rivers and the new snow that had fallen. The meal at the hotel Ranga was very good and we did manage to get a photo of the northern lights albeit a faint green tinge.
