“I contacted them first as I needed a magnet to use for child proof kitchen cupboard door locks, so the magnet needed to be able to undo a latch through a 20mm thick wooden cabinet door. I had an email exchange with Juan who was really helpful and advised what I needed. I ordered 4 magnets to try as I wasn't sure whether I needed North or South polarity, I returned two magnets to exchange. They were sent promptly and the difference in price was refunded. Perfect service!”

“Fabulous choice of magnets, I bought the ring type one that came with a carabina .... the strength is 35g, The plan was to use it inside my litttle camper van, but it didn't work very well, because the metal inside is painted so it slides about a good bit, which was a bit frustrating, in the end I had to use suction pads, they don't move. The aethetics and design of the magnet I can't criticise because it's such a beautiful object, in the end I used it inside my house, it makes me smile every thing a fix a key to it. “The service was great. The finish of the ferrous sheets was nice. We use it to stick fridge magnets that we've collected from everywhere we've travelled to. Just wished that the sheet provided a stronger surface coz some of our magnets don't stick well or are too heavy (but they stick fine to a magnetic whiteboard).”

We are sorry the magnets you ordered were not strong enough for your application. The magnets you ordered are ferrite disc magnets, also known as ceramic magnets. They are magnetised with their north and south poles on their opposite flat faces. Ferrite magnets have a high resistance to corrosion and demagnetisation and their great advantage is that they can operate in temperatures of up to 180 degrees Celsius. These magnets are ideal for craft making, model making and other non-technical applications where a really strong magnet is not necessary.
